Friends of Princeton University Library Small Talk: "Princeton in the American Revolution through the Paintings of John Trumbull" with Ron Brown
Join the Friends of Princeton University Library for a beautifully illustrated tribute to the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States as seen through the paintings of John Trumbull, the great visual artist of the American Revolution. Ron Brown, Friend, will share the evolution of Colonel Trumbull’s work from his early sketches of British positions occupying Boston to the monumental images he created for the Capitol Rotunda, including works illustrating the Declaration of Independence and the Battle of Princeton that are held by Princeton University Library (PUL).
Registration is required:
